I like that.  :)
The line was from an Old Time Radio Show when the woman wanted to go shopping and the man didn't.  They went shopping, ha.

How's this for a line?  A woman's will is always stronger than a man's won't.

What about the Yellow Ones  ;D
I am recalling a song we used to sing as children.  I can understand it if you never heard it; but these people in our country pushing racist rhetoric have no excuse.

They would probably say that's unrelated to the point they're trying to make.

I believe that skin color has nothing to do with the kind of work someone would/could do, for how many hours, or for whatever the weather conditions are, hot or cold etc

Someone must have skipped a few history lessons.
Either that or it's not something they've heard or been made aware of because if it was it might change the narrative that is being pushed.

I heard something funny today and I didn't realize it was such a widespread view. So the view is that white people can't work in the hot sun for long hours.  :D I guess it's not common knowledge that there were many white sharecroppers in the South who picked cotton and tobacco etc for long hours in the hot sun. We were more than capable of doing that and were willing to work hard to survive.

This vid's not available here in Canada. I went on youtube to look for it and came across a snippet of a SNL performance given by the Washington Post where a Santos satirist is standing on a gridiron touchline claiming to be a black quarterback.

Too easy of a target repeatedly goofed on by both left and right for his claims. Maybe some of it will eventually be clever.

Saturday Night live had "George Santos" showing up in a video about football.   "Santos" makes two appearances.  ;D

Someone pranked the Republican candidate for Secretary of State in Massachusetts when she held up a book saying it contained child ****.  Yes, someone called the police to tell them she was claiming to possess a book she shouldn't have.  The police arrived and leafed through the book.  She wasn't arrested, so I guess her claim was exaggerated.

I suppose Oz could point to Arnold Schwarzennegger who holds dual citizenship with Austria. The latter wanted to revoke it when as Governor, he reportedly supported the death penalty.

Ya, could be dicey, especially with the strained relations with Turkey.

^ Not sure how much of a chance he has.   He's really from New Jersey.  He is renting a home in Pennsylvania that belongs to his mother-in-law.  That started back in 2020.

I doubt Democrats will make a big deal about his religion; but the other Republicans running might.  Does a Muslim stand a chance running as a Republican?

I also don't like him because he has dual citizenship here and in Turkey. I'm not a fan of dual citizenship, especially for people running for office.  Indeed he wanted to keep his Turkish citizenship so much that he served in their army.
