Sorry I forgot to add that a neighbor saw a sort of bright electrical short (likely the hot line and neutral one) on a roof, right before the phase is out.  Since it is a partial fault (the other two phases seem to work), many houses weren't affected.
Do you know what company is your electrical supplier?  Has anyone with the same problem contacted them?

It will probably need replacing.  I was wondering if a terrorist did it; but it sounds like aged equipment. Good luck!

Good that you got better so soon.  What do you mean by "electricity post"?  Did something happen to the pole that has the wires?

Perhaps it is called 'electrical station' in which there is a power transformer (from HV to 220V) for the neighborhood.

I still have no electricity, and I found out that only my line phase (there are 3 phases) is out of service. So now, the main transformer is loaded on two phases only which will likely damage it, if it has no protection. Today is Friday, no one around. I will see what I can do tomorrow. I suspect the fault will not be fixed soon.

;D

For instance, lately (Friday) I had a cold (now I am fine) and the electricity post of our neighborhood was also down from Friday till now because of fault.

The tariffs Trump put on imports from other countries may mean Santa doesn't fly across the Canadian border.  He might get shot down for not paying the tariffs.

I heard now that tomorrow (8 of Dec) there will be a national political and religious celebrations (with prayers) that Syria became at last an Islamic country in real (not apparently only, as it was the case before 2011 when Christian Obama asked the world to also save Syrians).

Will Santa visit Syria this year? I think Santa also doesn't visit Israel. The good news is that the American 'Christian' leaders, unlike Santa, welcome them both now.

Do two people use that to see who's better at guessing when 10 seconds are up?

Just one person tries to stop exactly at 10:00. On Google, it is known as 10 seconds stopwatch game.
The one, I am designing, can have also a real watch (though for hours and minutes only), besides a temperature sensor (the best version)

I have an idea for you.  I don't know if it's possible or not.  Hook up a motion sensor with a recording.  For Christmas, it could be Santa saying, "Ho, ho, ho."  Put it on your porch or door so Santa greets people with laughter when they walk by or when they come up to porch or door.

Aren't you kidding :) Here?!... where women have to please Allah by dressing in black!
