In the morning of Friday, I felt I got the start of a flu (most people around me had it). So, I stopped eating and in bed as much as possible. I didn't go out Friday and Saturday. Now (around 9:30 PM) I feel better, its symptoms seem to end. I will likely restart eating (light and hot food) when electricity will be on (around mid-night I hope).

For instance, I am working on a small project. A small (24 cm x 9 cm) LED sign that has 4 digits [88:88]. I noticed such simple display is used as a game. One presses a button, the displayed number starts as 00:00 and increases quickly at a rate of 100 Hz. Then he presses the button again, he wins if the display shows 10:00, which is exactly 10 seconds. Perhaps I will be able to sell it since it will cost me not more than 20 dollars.
Do two people use that to see who's better at guessing when 10 seconds are up?

I have an idea for you.  I don't know if it's possible or not.  Hook up a motion sensor with a recording.  For Christmas, it could be Santa saying, "Ho, ho, ho."  Put it on your porch or door so Santa greets people with laughter when they walk by or when they come up to porch or door.

Meanwhile I saw, for the first time while crossing a public garden, a panel on which it is written:
Allah is pleased in seeing a woman in full black (and a photo of a black silhouette :) ).
And Allah is not pleased in seeing a woman not in full black (and a photo of a woman dressing normal and covering her hair).

When I was young (teenager), it was normal seeing girls dressing miniskirt on the streets and bikini in swimming pools and seashores, and by them a few women in black sometimes.

So, the Power that has controlled Syria since after WW2 proved that evolution could be made to be backward :)
Some things look like they're going backwards here too -- at least to me they do.

Here it is around 2:30 AM
Usually, we had electricity from midnight to 2 AM. No sign of it this night!
Fortunately, my nearby friends have complete solar systems. One of them supplies me with 1A/220V, enough for me to work on my laptop anytime during the day.
They mysteries of life.  It is so good that you have friends.

I also ran into other news which pleased me.  The UN Security Council had a pleasant visit with al-Sharaa.  He seems to know how to charm people to get good results.

I wonder what's happening now with the electricity.

It happens that I became a bit busy lately. Nothing real important, I just work on a few projects (in electronics) to keep my brain's cells active.

By eating well (though no cooking) my health is okay (just the partial loss of hearing). I go out and walk around an hour daily (besides the 6-floor stairs), even if I have nothing to buy.

About my neighborhood electricity (city center), the old days returned :) 4 or 6 hours at noon and 2 hours at mid-night.
You must be healthier than me.  I get tired walking after about 15 minutes.

I wonder what's happening now with the electricity.
