A Blast From The Past - The 1960s

Memories from fifty years ago.  Like an old Blackfeet Indian said so long ago: why gone those times?

As someone who should not have lived as long as I have, going back into the past, to the beginning has some meaning.  The years and the thoughts behind them are much like a progression of tribes and nations in great migrations.  At one time here, and then at another time, gone.




The past is gone but yet it is still with me.  We always hope the past rests gently with us all, better than a current medical recuperation . . .

I have a feeling I may forget some things  in the news now.  It might be nice.  I feel as if I'm in a dream at times.   If I  remember them, I may think I was on drugs and hallucinating.   Donald Trump and company make me feel like Alice in Wonderland.

That was a good song, Kerry.  Trump has a madness and chases rabbits, or should I say, he did start chasing Playboy Bunnies  That is how he ended up thinking with "the little head instead of the big head" and acquired his difficulties in discursive thinking.    :D

Instead of pills maybe we need a taste of honey:

Ya, the 60's were great for tuneful songs. So many of them. I have a TV station just plays them one after the other all day long. So many timeless and universal themes:
