I've always admired natural musical talent having none myself. I prefer it of others since I find myself getting squeamish when I try to do it. I guess I'm not wired for it being more apparently "left-brained" and also somehow more geared to goofing around.

Good for you and your family for your talents!

I wasn't referring to myself but other members of the family. I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.  :D And I only play piano by ear which isn't anything special. I do enjoy all kinds of music though with a few exceptions.

Picking a tune out on an instrument by ear is something special since it shows that you're not tone deaf. And some do it quicker than others. Plus, some famous popular composers didn't know how to read notes and did the same.

I learned a bunch of songs by ear way back, but today  .  .  .  .  too much work and I'm trying to avoid that by cutting corners on a lot of stuff. Plus, I slow myself down by analyzing things like why is there no black key between E and F or why a # there instead of a flat so I get puzzled and worn out.

Ya, I never understood how someone listens to just one kind of music to the exclusion of all others but to each their own I suppose.

Any Suzie's here?

There's another man in black.  .  .  .  .

Both performances faithful to the original recordings pretty much for those who might remember.

Yep. But you don't have to like the songs.
